The Great Temple of Ramses II, New Kingdom, built around 1200 BC (19th Dynasty),relocated from the now flooded banks of the Nile about 100m below.

They are about 30m high. The temple was positioned so that on Feb 22 and Oct 22, the morning sun reaches all the way to the rear of the temple to illuminate the gods in the Holy of Holies, just as the original site was positioned.

Inside we weren't allowed to take photos. I don't know why but I snapped this one anyway. The inside was filled with murals and hieroglyphics.

The Temple of Hathor dedicated to Queen Nefetari, although several of the statues are of Ramses II himself. It too was relocated.
